The human condition
Redaction: the process by which governments edit and sanitise historic and security information through deletion and editing, before releasing it to the general public. What are they hiding?
In this exhibition, I present a collection of unframed paper collages, ranging in size from A5 to A3. Each work features a redacted newspaper column, where information has been suppressed but a new message emerges, to present themes around alienation and the human condition.
